These terms govern use of hamiltonledgerco.com and describe our services generally. Client engagements are governed by a signed services agreement, which controls if anything here differs.
Hamilton Ledger Co. provides bookkeeping services: transaction categorization, account reconciliation, financial reporting, catch-up and emergency ("Rescue") bookkeeping, and year-end packages prepared for your tax professional. We use professional accounting software and modern automation, with human review of all deliverables.
We are not a CPA firm and do not provide tax return preparation or filing, tax, legal, or investment advice, audits or attestation services, or representation before the IRS or any tax authority. Content on this site is general information, not professional advice for your situation.
The "closed by the 5th or the month is free" guarantee and Rescue turnaround commitments assume timely client access and complete records, as described in the services agreement. Founding-client pricing is limited to the stated number of clients and may end when those slots fill. Rescue-fee credits toward subscriptions require enrollment within 30 days of Rescue delivery.
Fees are flat-rate, billed in advance via our payment processor. Cleanup and Rescue projects require the stated deposit to begin. You may cancel monthly service anytime, effective at the end of the current billing month.
Clients retain ownership of their books, data, and software subscriptions at all times. On termination we transfer administrative access promptly.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims relating to the website or services is limited to fees you paid us in the three months preceding the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages or for outcomes resulting from incomplete or inaccurate records provided to us. The signed services agreement governs for clients.
